Job Title

Master’s degree is desirable
Skills required
· Requirement analysis, Design, Coding, Unit testing, Integration testing, deployment & production support
· Strength in application design patterns
· Hands-on experience Java/J2EE ; Struts/JSF, Swing, EJB (including MDB), JMS & ORM (Hibernate), XML (Parsers & Schema validation)
· Expertise in at least one application server (WebLogic server | WebSphere | Tomcat)
· Expertise in JVM internals, thread dump and memory dump analysis and JVM tuning
· Expertise in Unit testing using JUnit
· Expertise in static code analysis using tools like Checkstyle, FindBugs, PMD & SONAR
· Expertise in dynamic code profiling tools like JProfiler/ JProbe/ HPROF/ Eclipse Profiling
· Expertise in working with IBM WebSphere MQ
· Hands on experience in working with Oracle using JDBC and in PL-SQL
· Expertise in Web services, and application server technologies (e.g. Glassfish)
· Expertise in developing applications using AJAX technology like GWT
· Hands on experience in deploying Java/J2EE applications on UNIX with good handle on UNIX internals (HP-UX | Sun Solaris | IBM AIX), Linux RedHat, and Windows (2008, 7, …)
· Hands on experience in scripting on Unix (TCL | KSH | BASH)
· Experience in using design and development tools like Rational suite, Enterprise Architect, Eclipse, and Source code versioning systems (ClearCase | SVN | CVS)
· Proficient in build tools like ANT and Maven
· Should be able to go beyond comfort zone and look into source code in other languages like C/C++ and be able to integrate with modules written in other languages
· Experience with different development methodologies (RUP | Scrum | XP)
· Expertise in creating technical documents like Architecture views, Technology Architecture blueprint and Design specification
· Experience with security(encryption) technologies like SSL & PKI is preferable
· Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium/HTMLUnit is preferable
· Knowledge of networking protocols like TCP/IP and UDP is preferable
